Obituary for Miriam Ruth Corbett (nee Bax)
Miriam passed away peacefully October 30, 2020 at the age of 93.
She was a true native of Colorado. Born June 1, 1927 to Ruth and Drew Bax of Denver. In 1953 she married Robin Corbett at the family home in Morrison Colorado. Robin and Miriam had three children. Tragically she lost her husband at the young age of 43. During this trying time she received much love and support from her parents who lived nearby. Later in life she found love again and married Dean Argetis.
Miriam, above all else was an artist. She was a talented equestrian, singer, painter and ceramicist. She also loved fishing, traveling and jewelry making.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ruth and Drew; her sister, Mary Elizabeth; her husbands, Robin and Dean.
She is survived by her children, Corey, Randy and Liz; her six grandchildren and one great grandson.
We miss her dearly and she is forever in our hearts.
A celebration of life will be held next summer at the family ranch.
