Obituary for Charles John Novosel
Whether you knew him as Charlie or you knew him as John, this mountain of a man poured his heart and soul into every aspect of his life. He passionately pursued hunting, wood working, gunsmithing and various community outreach programs but above all Charlie was a devoted family man. Lois and Charlie’s marriage of nearly 60 years truly shows his unwavering love of his family.
He was admired, loved, and respected by those who knew him. There truly wasn’t anything that Charlie couldn’t do… if his mind could conceive it his hands could create it. Whether it was innovating state of the art airplane repairs, or building the perfect cradle for his grandchildren - Charlie could do it all.
Charlie touched everybody’s lives and made it a point to make all those he encountered feel so important and special. He showed up when it mattered, always had your back, gave selflessly to those in need, and would defend and stand up for his loved ones without fail. He kept us safe and made us feel loved.
Charlie passed away peacefully with his wife and children by his side. He is survived by his wife Lois of Twin Lakes, Co, daughter Jeane Dillon of Denver, Co, daughter Karen LeBaron of Littleton,Co, son John Novosel of Aurora, Co; daughter-in-law Kelly Novosel of Aurora Co, and grandchildren Jake, Nick, Amber, Ashley, Jessica, Joshua, Cheyenne, and great grandchildren Beverly and Ryker. He also leaves behind brothers, Bob and Mike, and sisters Marge, Christine and Holly and countless nieces and nephews. He will forever be in their hearts and missed very much everyday.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Holy Family Parish Meals-On-Wheels or Knights of Columbus.
