Obituary for Lynne Ann Stowell
On November 18, 2021, Lynne Ann Stowell, loving wife and mother of 2 daughters, passed away peacefully at age 71, surrounded by her family. She is home with her Lord and Savior, Jesus. Lynne was born April 17, 1950 in Santa Monica, California to Marian Mackey (Miller) and Marlin Thomas Shelhimer. On August 17, 1968, she married Richard (Dick) Stowell.

They raised two daughters, Meredith Lynne Skizinski and Hillery Ann Venturini. Meredith and her husband Randy, reside in Aurora, Colorado with their daughter Mykah. Hillery and her husband Chris, reside in Littleton, Colorado with their son Iden, and daughters Shayla and Haley. Lynne was preceded in death by her father, Marlin (Shel), her mother, Marian, and her brother Tom. She is survived by her husband Richard (Dick), and her two daughters, Meredith and Hillery.

Early in her career, Lynne worked in retail and then the banking industry. Before leaving banking in the late eighties, she became a certified personal trainer, with a love for improving the health of others through fitness. In more recent years, she found her calling in fixing up homes in the Littleton and Englewood areas, which served as encouragement to neighboring homes to improve as well. Her humanity for helping people also bridged into her tremendous love and empathy for shelter animals, with a special place in her heart for those with special needs. She also found joy supporting local organizations through food donations, Christmas toys, school supplies and monetary support. Her keen ability and enjoyment for finding store deals throughout the year, allowed her to give so much, and help so many.

In recognition of her wishes, no formal memorial service will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory are requested to any cancer research or support organizations, or Foothills Animal Shelter.
