Randall Beauchamp was born on February 2, 1956, to Mary and Fran Beauchamp in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He departed this world peacefully into the loving arms of Our Lord on June 12, 2022.
At both Fairview High School in Boulder and the University of Northern Colorado he enjoyed badminton, tennis, and racquetball. He completed his graduate studies at the University of California, Santa Barbara.
Randy was a life-long French teacher in several schools throughout the Denver Metro area. His love of French and passion for teaching aided him in chaperoning several student trips to France, helping them become immersed in the French culture.
Randy was always a very classy and stylish dresser. Fashion was important to him throughout his life. He was also an avid traveler, finding himself touring the United States and many European countries. He traveled with his siblings, his husband, and many good friends. Randy’s traveling piqued his interest in fine wines and gourmet dishes, experiencing many new and different foods and drinks. Randy’s great spirit and wonderful smile allowed him to engage in many friendships wherever he went. Mixing company, ambiance, and food were a winning combination.
His hobbies included crossword puzzles, music, dancing, attending the theater, and collecting art. He enjoyed going to Denver Broncos and Colorado Rockies games with season tickets. Randy’s faith in God and the Catholic Church was unwavering. His loving heart and generous spirit led him to help people in need, giving generously to the church and charities. He continued his faith journey throughout his life, expanding his spiritual knowledge through books, classes, and discussion groups. His husband, Rick’s, conversion to Catholicism, added the last piece to the circle of his life.
