Obituary for Kelly Jo Stodola Reszczynski
Kelly (Stodola) Reszczynski went to her heavenly home on Saturday, November 17, 2018 surrounded by her loving Family after a yearlong hard fought battle against triple negative breast cancer. Kelly was a loving mother, wife, daughter, sister and friend and will be dearly missed by all.

Kelly was born on September 20, 1972 in Manitowoc, WI to Dorothy and Joseph Stodola. She graduated from Roncalli High School in 1991 and Mount Mary College in Wisconsin with a degree in Fashion Design.

Kelly married Steven Alexander Reszczynski on February 21, 2004 at St. Josaphat Basilica in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Kelly gave birth to three wonderful children (Gabriel, 2006, Timotheus, 2011, and Veronica, 2013). She worked at Kohls Corporate Offices as a clothing Technical Designer until the Family moved to Colorado in 2013 where she dedicated herself to raising her children, hiking, growing herbs and flowers and attending her children's many activities including figure skating, baseball and hockey in and around Monument.

Kelly is survived by her loving husband Steve and their three children Gabe, Timo and Nica, her parents Joe and Dottie, brothers Chad (Laurel) and their children Kenna and Luke, Joseph (Lisa) and their children Arianna and Landon, Jerry (Sarah) and their children Cora, Christa and Cali and her sister Kari (Tony) Welnicke and their children Westyn and Rylan, her father and mother in law Ervin and Hildegard Reszczynski, brother in law Michael Reszczynski and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Kelly was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Otto and Cora Mueller and her paternal grandparents Joseph G and Verna Stodola.

Kelly’s family would like to express a sincere thank-you to St. Peter Catholic Church and School, especially Father Gregory, Father Michael, Melissa Smith, Shelia Whelan, Robin Schneider and the staff of the school. We would also like to thank friends Brett and Maria Egarr, Phil and Sonja Bedouin, Mindy Derby, Steve’s many former and current work colleagues and friends and Black Creek Group and American Medical Response, Gabe and Timo’s former school Larkspur Elementary and all who supported her through the year with her gofundme donations, meals and help with the children.
