Obituary for Anthony Joseph Reading
Anthony Joseph Reading, 49, died February 28, 2019. He is survived by his loving wife, Tania Kay Reading, and their six bright, beautiful children Tatum, Tabitha, Talia, Tevia, Anthony James (TJ) and Taggart (Tag). Anthony is also survived by his mother, Mary Reading Parks, father, Bud, sister, Kelly, brother, Daniel, Grandma Stewart, Aunt Beverly, Aunt Patricia and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Anthony was born January 2, 1970, in Des Moines, Iowa. He attended Immaculate High School, Syracuse University where he studied Architecture and Colorado Christian University where he studied Theology. At the time of his death, Anthony was Partner and Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) at Clear Digital Media, LLC.
In his spare time, Anthony enjoyed riding his bike and running the trails throughout Daniel’s Park. However, what he coveted most was finding a quiet, peaceful hilltop where he would sit and read his Bible. Even though Anthony was a gifted marketeer and businessman, he always felt his true calling was ministry and made it a priority to spend time in The Word and spread the love of Jesus Christ to everyone he met. Anthony was humble and selfless. He served the homeless and broken-hearted passionately.
The most important people in Anthony’s life were his wife and children, and he made sure Tania, Tatum, Tabitha, Talia, Tevia, TJ and Tag knew how much they were loved in the most thoughtful, creative ways. His legacy is clearly revealed in the remarkable beauty, humility, moral compass, kindness, graciousness and thoughtfulness found in each ...Anthony’s gift to those graced to know them.
Anthony is joyfully and peacefully at rest in The Lord’s Arms. Anthony’s Memorial Service will be held Monday, March 11th at 11 AM in Dixon Chapel at Cherry Hills Community Church in Highlands Ranch, CO, followed by a reception in the Orchard Room and burial at Cedar Hills Cemetery in Castle Rock, CO.
