Obituary for Lynne Bernard Brown
Lynne, age 82 of Littleton, Colorado.

Lynne Bernard Brown was born April 29, 1937 in Cordell, OK, the 9th of 10 Irish redheads born to Verne Wilbur Brown and Blanche Hazle Wilcox Brown. The family moved to Chickasha, OK where Lynne attended St. Joseph Academy, graduating in 1956. A proud Oklahoma State Cowpoke, Lynne graduated from OSU in 1961 with a degree in Drafting and Design.

July 9, 1961 Lynne married Jimmie Lou Elliott, and the two moved to Lakewood, CO where they began their lifelong residency . They were blessed with three beautiful children, Curtis Michael, Shelley DeAnn and Jana Beth, whom they raised in Lakewood, Arvada, and the Columbine area of Littleton, CO.

Lynne began his professional career in the engineering department at Dow Chemical Company, Rocky Flats, which eventually led to a lifetime career in machine tool sales. He established his own machine tool company, High Tech Systems, in partnership with Gary Pettee. He completed his career with Triad Machine Tool and has been living in peaceful retirement after leaving Triad.

Lynne was a fun-loving, gregarious joke teller in his early years, and an avid, enthusiastic golfer. He was a collector of coins and hats, and a jigsaw puzzle and word search puzzle fanatic. Each spring he loved laying out and planting his prolific vegetable garden, despite his annual standoff with the persistent neighborhood squirrels.

Lynne and Jimmie were richly blessed with eight incredible grandchildren - Heather Marie, Michael Weston, Annette Cherie Lynne, Colton Taylor, Tristan Tyler, Carly Rose, Ryan Faith & Morgan Rayne and two great grandchildren, Delilah Jane and Aiden Raine.

Gone too soon, you left before we were ready, but then, is anyone ever ready? Your biggest gifts came in the smallest of packages through loving gestures, often silent but noticed at just the right moment.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. James Food Pantry or Zimkids Water Project through St. James Presbyterian Church. Please make checks out to St. James Presbyterian Church and in the MEMO line state either "Food Pantry" or "Zimkids" and mail checks to:
