Savage, Deborah Anne, age 54 of Monument, whose Monument-based company Comfort Keepers assisted the elderly throughout the Colorado Springs area, died Sept. 19 at Penrose Main Hospital in Colorado Spring, CO. She died of pancreatic cancer. Born in Philadelphia in 1958, Deborah worked for MCI when she moved from Fairfax Virginia to Monument Colorado with her family in 1993. She was also an employee of Burroughs, The United States Supreme Court, and USA.NET. After retiring from the computer industry in 2003, Deborah became owner of Comfort Keepers of Colorado Springs, which provides in-home care for seniors and families so they can live happy, healthy lives at home. A long-time mass coordinator for St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Monument, Deborah loved hiking the local trails, taking drives into the mountains to watch the changing of the leaves, and vacationing at her husband’s mother’s home at the beach in Wilmington, NC. An avid soccer fan, Deborah enjoyed watching her two children play in local youth leagues. Survivors include her husband, Glenn Savage and two children, Christine and Kevin, of Monument; sister Lorraine and brothers Michael, Joseph and Daniel of Northern Virginia.
