Obituary for Sandra Pomi Pickford
Pickford, Sandra Pomi, age 53, of Littleton, Colorado. After a courageous six-year battle with cancer, Sandy passed away amongst a group of 20 of her closest family and friends on June 8, 2013. She was born on March 7, 1960 in Longview, Washington to Patricia and Nick Nelson. Loving wife and best friend of Greg Pickford. Sandy's legacy cannot be captured in a single obituary, those who knew her would understand. To those who knew her best, she was: a whimsical and selfless matriarch who put her family above all else, a creative artist and decorator, and savior to any animal in distress. Sandy brought that subtle yet magical touch to every family holiday and event, turning the most ordinary times into extraordinary memories. There are no words to express how dearly she will be missed, she was the heart of her family and her memory will be will carried on in the hearts of those who loved her. Sandy is survived by her husband Greg, mother Patricia, and father George; her daughter Kristen (Jeremy); her sons Brett (Laura), Nick (Jessica), and Mike (Amanda); her grandchildren Clara, Isabella, Lillyana, and Owen; her brothers Craig, Garth, Mike, and Dennis; and her sisters Kathleen, Hallie, Stacy, and Michele. Sandy is preceded by her loving daughter Annie, father Nick, and sister Jeanie.
