Obituary for Marion Lois Crawford
Crawford, Marion (Gmack), age 87, longtime resident of Green Bay, passed away peacefully on August 15, 2014 in Denver, CO. She was born on November 22, 1926 in Sturgeon Bay, and attended Sturgeon Bay High School, graduating in 1944. She went on to study nursing. She married Chet Crawford on August 22, 1948 in Green Bay. She then completed her studies at Loma Linda University in California, while her husband attended medical school. She received her RN diploma in 1949 and practiced her profession until 1952. Upon returning to Green Bay where her husband Chet established a medical practice, Marion devoted her time to raising their three children, Bill, Karen and Mary. Following her husband's retirement, they relocated to Denver, CO to be near family. She is survived by her husband, Dr. Chet Crawford, her brother Bob Gmack of Green Bay, her son Bill of Minneapolis, her daughter and son-in-law Karen and Roger Murrill of Denver, her daughter Mary of Los Angeles, her grandson William (BJ) of Stamford, CT and her granddaughter Katie of Cincinnati.
