Obituary for Bernice Schissler
Bernice died at home surrounded by her loving family after a courageous three year battle with Myelofibrosis. She is preceded in death by her Parents Ray and Reba Bennett, her Husband of 48 years Donald Schissler, sisters Lou Crocker, Rowine Boseman and Roma Wright, brothers Ray Merrill Bennett and Eddie Bennett and granddaughter Rebecca Parker Sherman. She is survived by daughters Donna Parker and Karen (Jim) Sannino, son Kenny Schissler, sisters Pat Bennett and Gayle (Gene) Stevens, sister-in-Laws Irene Kopolovic and Terri Bennett, grandchildren Chris, Sunday, and David (Lisa) Parker, Jennifer (Brian) Arpin, Benjamin (Diana) Schissler and Greg Sherman, great-grandchildren Alex Selepec, Cameron and Parker Arpin, Callie Schissler, Ethon Day, Lauren, Zachary and Mackenzie Parker. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and her 15 year old Chihuahua “Yogi”. Bernice was a homemaker, raised her children, took care of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and was a caretaker for her husband for nine years after he suffered a massive stroke. Her incredible sense of humor through the good times and bad will be dearly missed. She said she would go out making us laugh and she did.
