Obituary for Edith J. Davis
Davis, Edith J., age 98 of Lakewood Colorado. Edith was born on August 28, 1916 and passed away April 1, 2015. She is survived by her two children, Garry (Linda) Davis of Littleton, Colorado and Bonnie Varner of Littleton, Colorado. She has six grandchildren, Rhonda, Krista, Dyana, Tonia, Tracey and Laine. She also has twelve great grandchildren, Christina, Mark, Christopher, Sarah, Maya, Shelby, Nicholas, Isabel, Kaylyn, Morgan, Samantha and Garry and also two great great grandchildren, Kylar and Zaylea. She is proceeded in death by her father, John and her mother Edith Bement and daughter Marlene Revollo. She was born and lived in Denver the majority of her life. When she was in her younger years she moved from Denver to California and back again finally settling in Denver. She attended 13 different school in her schooldays. She purchased a home in Lakewood in 1967 and would remain in this home for 47 years up until her death. She loved to garden and work in her yard. She made sure that the wildlife that came to visit her had plenty of food and water. She spent her career growing carnations in greenhouses in Denver and retired doing this. After retiring she spent time helping raise to her grandkids, travelling and bowling. She loved bowling so much that she did it for 50 years well into her 90’s until she wasnt able to throw the ball anymore. She made many good friends bowling on different leagues and sometimes bowling on two different leagues in a week. She will be dearly missed by all her family and friends.
