Richard Everett Hodges, age 66 of Littleton. Richard passed away on August 20, 2015 after a 14 month battle with ALS. He moved to Colorado with his family in 1974. Richard worked for the U.S. Geological Survey for 35 years, and his job gave him the opportunity to travel the United States as well as the world.
After retirement in 2003 his passion for travel caused him to take to the roads in a 5th wheel trailer with his beloved wife, Sue. They travelled for 12 years.
He is preceded in death by his father Everett Hodges and sister Karen Sumner. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Sue; daughters, Jennifer Hodges and Naomi Weaver; son-in-law, Matthew Weaver; mother, Luella Hodges; brother, John Hodges; sister Nancy Jenkins; along with several nieces and nephews.
