Obituary for Andrea Marie Weldon
Andrea Marie Weldon was born in Denver, Colorado on January 30th, 1977 to Jeff and Carol Deaner. When Andrea was two years old, she welcomed her brother Josh to the family. She and Josh grew up in Littleton, and Andrea graduated from Arapahoe High School. A few years after graduation, Andrea was given her two greatest joys in life—her children, Alyssa and Brayden. In 2010, she met Jeremy Weldon and his children Gavin and Annalise, and the six of them soon began their loving and dedicated life together. They enjoyed traveling to the tropics of Hawaii and Mexico, spending time with all four of their children, cooking, and enjoying time with friends and family.
Andrea always enjoyed using her creative side, specifically designing and creating beautiful jewelry. She worked for years in the jewelry business, before deciding to go back to school to get her degree in business from Colorado State University. She did this while working full-time at a mortgage company and being a loving mother to her children. Upon graduating from Colorado State, she joined Jeremy in working at Charles Schwab, where she made several lasting friendships.
Andrea was a fighter, and a diagnosis of cancer was not going to break her spirit. She greeted her diagnosis with a smile, and fought hard. She is survived by her husband, Jeremy; her children Alyssa and Brayden and step-children Gavin and Annalise; her father Jeff and his wife Jacky; her brother Josh and his wife Emily, along with their two children Abigail and Owen; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. She also will be missed by countless cherished friends from childhood to the loving friends she befriended so quickly at Charles Schwab. Andrea was greeted in heaven by Jesus and her loving mother, Carol, on December 16, 2016.
Memorial services will be held at South Suburban Christian Church on Friday, December 23rd, 2016, on the 6th anniversary of her beloved mom’s memorial service at the same location. The service will begin at 2:00 pm at 7275 South Broadway, Littleton, Colorado, 80120.
In lieu of flowers or gifts, we ask that you plan a date night with your spouse, kids, or a friend and enjoy life’s precious time together.
