Obituary for Cassandra Noel Persichetti
Cassandra, age 17, Senior at Dakota Ridge High School, Class of 2021.
Cassandra was born September 24, 2002 to Steve and Stacey Persichetti of Littleton, Colorado; and was a younger sister to Christian, Chase and Tony. She was welcomed back to our Lord's embrace on July 28, 2020.
Cassandra's name means "to excel, to shine" and "helper of man". She was a bright light to everyone in her life and impacted many even through her death.
Cassandra was going into her Senior year at Dakota Ridge High School. She excelled in her academics and was planning on attending either Pepperdine University or University of San Diego to study pre-med. She was a member of the National Honor Society and she participated in volleyball, track and soccer. This year she was hoping to play field hockey so she could be awarded the Tri Sport Athlete Award. She lettered in Academics each year as well as lettering in Track and Soccer. She achieved awards for the most inspirational, the most spirit and best attitude.
Most of all Cassandra loved the Lord and wanted to live His will. She held on tightly to many verses to guide her life. She so enjoyed all her friends and family and was always there for them physically and spiritually. She loved waterskiing, snow skiing, snowmobiling, atv riding, star gazing, and just spending quality time with others. Each year she volunteered her time with Vacation Bible School, Operation Christmas Child, Severe Weather Shelter Network and at school events.
Cassandra had the most intoxicating smile and laugh. She was witty and had the funniest sense of humor ever. She was just absolutely beyond incredible and we are in awe of her faith and beautiful soul. She was our miracle and we are honored to have had her here on earth as long as we did. She changed the lives of many and through her organ, tissue and bone donations she will continue to be a miracle to others and change their lives.
Cassandra will forever be in our hearts and our memories and will make us better and stronger for knowing her.
She leaves behind a multitude of people who loved her dearly including her parents, Stacey and Steve Persichetti. Her brothers that she was incredibly close to are Christian, Chase and Tony. Cassandra is survived by her grandparents, Thomas and Virginia Dillow, her uncles Eric and Barry and the late Uncle Dean and her Aunt Cyndy, and her cousins she was inseparable with which include: Amelia, Amanda, Christina, Jessica, Jeremie, Macie, Halie, Flynn, Derin, Andy and Shane. On her father's side of the family: grandparents Jim and Joanne Persichetti; uncles Mark, John and Paul; and cousins, great cousins; and niece Tiara.
