Tankersley, Clara Lavoice, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 28, 2012 at the age of 82. Lavoice is survived by her three loving children, Steve Tankersley of Magnolia, Texas, Teresa Leede of Cherry Hills Village, Colorado, and Bruce Tankersley of Lubbock, Texas. In addition, Lavoice had six grandchildren (Erica Fosdick of Spring, Texas, Heather Holmes of Montgomery, Texas, Mat Tankersley of The Woodlands, Texas, Andrew Leede of Aspen, Colorado, Alex Leede of San Rafael, California, and Trace Tankersley of Lubbock, Texas) as well as four great-grandchildren. Born in Eastland, Texas, Lavoice married Paul Tankersley on December 24, 1952. Through Paul’s employment with Mobil Pipeline, the family lived in various cities in Texas and New Mexico as well as three years in Tripoli, Libya. After Lavoice and Paul divorced in 1983, Lavoice moved from Midland, Texas to Houston, Texas and then to the Denver metro area in 1990, where she was employed by Petroleum Information and then Tony’s Specialty Market in Littleton, Colorado. Lavoice loved her children, grandchildren, great-children and the Dallas Cowboys. She will be greatly missed by all those who knew her and loved her.

At Lavoice’s request, there will not be a memorial service.
