Obituary for Cory Allen Linnebur
Cory Allen Linnebur, second of three children, born May 9, 1986 to Tom and Jan Linnebur. Cory graduated from Strasburg High School in 2004, and went on to be a very talented diesel mechanic and carpenter. In 2003 Cory joined Strasburg Fire Protection District #8 at the age of 17 as a Cadet, and in 2004 after turning 18 he became a full member. He went on to achieve his First Responder, Hazmat Operations, and Fire Fighter I certificates, and then his Emergency Medical Technician Basic State license. Cory left his service to Strasburg after 10 years in 2014.
Cory met Rachel Richardson, and in 2016. Cory and Rachel were married – where he and the family happily also welcomed Rachel’s son Andrew who also became Cory’s son. Rachel and Cory welcomed two more sons Quinton and Stetson to their family, both being the spitting images of their dad in looks and personality.
Cory is survived by his wife Rachel, sons Andrew, Quinton, and Stetson, father Tom Linnebur, sister Lisa Hoff, grandma Nancy Overly, nephew Issak Copeland, niece Serenity Hoff, many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Cory was preceded in death by his mother, Jan Linnebur, paternal grandparents Marvin and Dorothy Linnebur, maternal grandfather Richard Overly, brother Cody and cousins Christina and Nikki
