Obituary for Cory Wilson Brown

Cory Wilson Brown, age 33

Cory lived at his family home in Littleton, CO and previously in Portland, OR. He passed away peacefully in his sleep the night of July 6 at his home. Cory worked as an IT Tech at the Denver Federal Center and part time at the Adrift Tiki Bar in Denver. He was a lifelong musician and artist aided by a Digital Media degree earned from Metropolitan State University in Denver. Cory had an intense love of nature, farming and outdoor activities.

He was surrounded by a diverse set of wonderful friends in both the Portland and Denver areas. Cory is survived by his parents Cliff and Donna Brown and his brother Mont and sister in law Danielle.

A celebration of life will be held in August; details will be posted once finalized.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Cory Brown Memorial Dye Garden at Development at John C Campbell Folk School in Brasstown, NC. See below for details.

The celebration for Cory will be held in the Barn. There will be outdoor music, laughter, bear hugs, music, and wonderful memories for everyone to share. This celebration of his life will truly fall inline with how he would have wanted. Please join us in this difficult time, but amazing encapsulating event to honor Cory.
