Obituary for David Alan Turner

David, age 75 of Littleton, Colorado.


David Alan Turner born in Amarillo, Texas in 1947. Graduated from Amarillo High, Joined the Air Force in 1967, serving in Vietnam.


David was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers # 68. Then worked at United as a Flight Simulator technician, and later as a Staff Maintenance Operations Instructor. He held licenses in Air Frame and Power Plant, Radio and Electronics, Heating and Air Conditioning and many others. This led to a job working for American Trainco as a technical instructor, traveling the country giving classes.


David and his wife Debbie took up scuba diving, competition country western dancing.  When he retired, David and his wife Debbie bought a fifth wheel and, but eventually traded it for a cabin in Creede, Colorado.


Retirement meant learning to play the bass and joining the Rocky Mountain Ukulele Orchestra, and eventually an all ukulele group the Ferocious Fleas.


He is survived by his wife Debbie of 48 years, his son Sean, and granddaughter Piper.
