Obituary for Evan Adam Breitkreuz
On Thursday May 14, 2020, Evan Adam Breitkreuz, beloved son of Kenneth and Deborah Breitkreuz and brother of Alex Breitkreuz, entered into Heavenly rest at the age of 20.
Evan was born in Englewood, Colorado. He attended Mission Hills Church, and then South Suburban Christian Church. He also attended schools in the Littleton Public and Cherry Creek School Districts, and Aspen Academy.
Evan was often up to goofy antics as a child and carried a dry sense of humor with him throughout his life. He loved learning and was studying Civil Engineering at the Colorado School of Mines. Evan was quiet by nature and highly intelligent, extraordinarily sincere and honest, yet genuinely humble.
Evan is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather George Breitkreuz, his maternal grandparents Donald and Geraldine Borleis, and his uncles David Borleis and Daniel Borleis. He is survived by his parents Ken and Debbie Breitkreuz, his brother Alex Breitkreuz, his grandmother Viola Breitkreuz, six uncles, seven aunts, and seventeen cousins.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Friday, May 22, 2020 at South Suburban Christian Church, 7275 South Broadway, Littleton CO 80122 at 4:00 pm, with a viewing from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm. The service and viewing will be open to immediate family only.
In lieu of flowers, local friends are invited to park at the church as a show of support for the family during and after the service. Social distancing requirements will be followed.
For those not living locally, flowers may be sent to the church. Please have them delivered on Friday, May 22nd, before 3:00 pm.
