Obituary for Georgine Diane Douglas
Jacoby, Georgine Diane, was born September 8, 1947 in Port Washington, Wisconsin, married Tom Douglas June 9, 1981, and died June 17, 2014 at the age of 66. Georgine had a good rapport with everyone she met and was well known for her quality teaching in preschools. Tom's mother, Dixie Douglas, fondly called Georgine her 'daughter-in-love.' Georgine was active in her church, having attended Sunday services and participating in several Bible studies. She was active in several ministries inside and outside of her church. Georgine was preceded in death by her parents, George and Dorothy Jacoby, and her elder sister, Bonnie Willson. Georgine's survivors include, husband Tom Douglas of Highlands Ranch; sister and brother-in-law Dorene and Jeff Calvin of Colorado Springs; nephew Alex Calvin of Colorado Springs; brother-in-law John Willson of Wilsonville, Oregon; niece Jodie Willson of Highlands Ranch; niece and husband Julie and Jon Paulsen and their children Claire and Charlie, of Oregon City, Oregon. Georgine was so loved by so many.
