Obituary for Gerald Lloyd Roberts
Gerald L. (Jerry) Roberts was born in Aberdeen, SD on December 2, 1937 to Lloyd and Mary Roberts. After a lengthy illness with Parkinson’s Disease and Cancer, Jerry died on April 21, 2021. He died peacefully in his sleep at home. Jerry grew up in Linton, North Dakota where he attended grade school and high school. Jerry also attended University of North Dakota and North Dakota State University for four years.
Jerry was a kind and compassionate man who loved his family deeply. His favorite times were watching sports, especially when his children and grandchildren were playing. Jerry was in sales all of his life, spending the majority of his years selling health insurance in North Dakota and Colorado and in later years home improvements.
Jerry will be greatly missed by his wife of 50 years, Sharon, daughters, Kimberly and Michelle, son, Robert and wife Tai, son-in-law Shane, grandchildren, Kennedi and Evan, sister, Marilyn, brothers, Robert, Richard and Jack. Jerry also leaves behind many loving family members including his 100 year old aunt, Johanna and 95 year old mother-in-law, Lydia. Jerry is preceded in death by his mother and father, Mary and Lloyd Roberts.
Jerry’s Memorial Mass will be at Light of the World Catholic Church, Littleton, Co on Friday, April 30, 2021 at 1:30 p.m. The family prefers memorials of Jerry Roberts be sent to Encompass Hospice, 1355 S. Colorado Blvd. Bldg C, Suite 604, Denver, Co. 80222.
Our time spent with Jerry will always be loving and happy memories. Jerry was truly a good friend to all that knew him and was loved for his quick wit, humor and laughter.
