Billingslea, Jr., Harold E. (Tony), was born in Amarillo, Texas. He was the youngest (and only boy) of 4 children. His dad worked in the general manager's office of Santa Fe Railway, so Tony grew up around trains. He was an airborne radio operator during the Korean War and was stationed in Germany. He traveled all over free Europe, North Africa, and the Middle East. He and Mary had a whirlwind courtship and married while he was still in the Air Force. After he got out of the Air Force, he went to school on the G.I. Bill and got a degree in geology. Once he graduated, he served in Texas, Colorado, and Oklahoma. Later, he traveled to every continent except Antarctica and Australia. He was never happier than when he was at home with his family, unless it was sitting in a boat fishing. He is survived by his wife, 2 sons, 6 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren.
