LeSage, Josephine (Jo) H., 84, of Pueblo, passed away on July 12, 2012. Born July 3, 1928, in Denver, Jo moved to Pueblo with her husband, Richard W. LeSage, in 1952. She spent many enjoyable years working on the McClelland Library bookmobile that served the schools in District 70. She liked to reminisce about the children who came regularly to the bookmobile. Several of these children grew up to be her lifelong friends. She later dedicated many years of her life to working with the developmentally disabled. Again, she made and treasured many new friends. Jo loved Pueblo, her house, her garden and her dogs. Eating out with friends and family was one of her favorite activities. But, most of all, she loved people. She never knew a stranger, and she was always ready to help those in need. She had a positive outlook on life, and she could make the best of any situation. The following words embody her optimism and hold a message for the family and friends she left behind: “Don’t cry because it’s over, smile because it happened.” --Dr. Seuss.
