Bringle, Judy Diane, age 70 of Littleton.
Judy was raised in Sioux City Iowa and was the oldest of five siblings. After graduating from Central High School in Sioux City she received her Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) Degree from Western Iowa Tech. Judy met Charles (Chuck) Bringle in Omaha, Nebraska, while she was working for Methodist Hospital. The two were married shortly after coinciding with Chuck being drafted into the U.S. Army.
Chuck and Judy had two children, Jeff and Chad, and raised them on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. The majority of her career was spent at Memorial Hospital in the maternity ward working with newborn babies. Judy’s first son, Jeff, died of colon cancer in 2014, at the age of 44. Judy’s husband, Chuck, died of prostate cancer in 2015, at the age of 69. Judy, herself, was diagnosed with a form of ovarian cancer in March 2017 and ultimately succumbed to the disease.
Judy was a very giving person and always kind to everyone she met. Judy took the upmost pride in her two children and her three grandchildren, Ben, Abbey, and Sawyer. She was the fiber that held family members together and enjoyed vacationing to visit other members of her large family. She was very appreciative of the girls in her Star Canyon neighborhood that provided her with support after the loss of Chuck, and, during her own battle with cancer. She really enjoyed walking the neighborhood trails and playing cards with her friends. After her walk, she would relax, and sit on the bench dedicated to Chuck. Judy’s family is grateful for the support that all of her wonderful friends, near and far, have provided during these difficult times.
