Obituary for Kimberley C. "Kym" Byron
Kimberley Cathryn Byron of Littleton, passed away on Saturday, October 1, 2016 at the age of 48. She lived with her husband Pat, and was the proud mother of two sons, Hayden, 15, and Spencer, 13.
Kym was born in Cheyenne, Wyoming on April 4th 1968. She graduated from Cheyenne Central High School in 1986. After high school, she attended University of Wyoming where she received her Bachelor of Science degree. She later attended Regis University for her Master’s Degree. Kym spent most of her working career at ADP in Denver, and most recently with Catholic Health Initiatives.
Kym married Pat Byron in March 2000 in Denver, Colorado. They were happily married for 16 years. Kym was a member of St. Frances Cabrini Church and was very involved with F.A.R.E Food Allergy Research and Education and the Governor’s Ranch Elementary PTA. Kym was also president of the Denver Chapter of IIBA for a term and spent many hours volunteering her time for the organization. She enjoyed Colorado Rockies baseball and attending Spring Training games in Arizona.
Kym was preceded in death by her grandparents, parents and her sister, Connie. Kym is survived by her husband Pat of Littleton, CO, her sons Hayden and Spencer Byron; her sisters Kitten (John), Judy (Dan), Teresa (Steb), Jon (Guy), Lou Ann (Rex) and Cheryl and her brothers Tom (Diana) and Jerry (Janice) and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be Thursday, October 6, 2016, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Chapel at Ellis Family Funeral Home, 13436 West Arbor Pl., Littleton, CO 80127. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Frances Cabrini, 6673 West Chatfield Ave., Littleton, CO, 80128 at 10:30 AM on Friday, October 7, 2016.
