Obituary for Marie Valentina Fairbairn
Marie V. Fairbairn, 86, passed away on August 8, 2020. Marie was born on September 27, 1933 in Niagara Falls, New York to Daniel and Frances Cassano.
Marie is survived by son Daniel Fairbairn (Becky) of Littleton, Colorado, and daughter Susan O’Dell (Mike) of Littleton, Colorado. She was preceded in death by her son Robert Fairbairn, Jr. and husband Robert Fairbairn, Sr. She is also survived by four loving grandchildren, Michelle, Connor, Madison and Sean.
Marie loved life and was very active. She loved to travel, garden, knit, sew, play cards and bingo. She volunteered at the local hospital and her church. She recently moved into a new senior living complex and made many new friends and was involved in every activity offered. While she loved being with friends and family, she loved to spend time with her grandchildren the most. They provided her with much joy and laughter. They kept her “young”!
Marie was a loving wife, mother, sibling and friend. She will be most remembered as an amazing grandmother! She is now reunited with her husband Bob Sr., son Bob Jr., and her heavenly Father. She will be dearly missed.
Event information: Memorial service will be August 29th ,2020 at 1030 am at St. Gregory’s Episcopal Church. DUE TO COVID-19, SERVICES AND INURNMENT WILL BE PRIVATE FAMILY ONLY
