Obituary for Marilyn I. Heider
Marilyn I. (Cavnar) Heider age 90 of Raton, passed away Saturday September 15, 2018 in Centennial, Colorado. She was born February 2, 1928 in Denver, CO, the daughter of Samuel E. and Helen A Johnston-Cavnar , She married William R. Heider in Denver, CO, on November 22, 1947. The family moved to Raton in 1951.
Marilyn is preceded in death by her parents, her Dad in 1951 and her Mother in 1988, and her husband Bill Heider. October 13, 2002. Her sister Winnie Jergenson and brothers Leroy, Dwayne and Sam and brother-in-law Fred Heider.
She is survived by her children, Dennis (Lynda) Heider, Jennifer Marie Heider, Donis (Duane) Jacobs, LaRayne (Roger) Graham, Barbara (Dan) Espinoza, Bret (Laura) Heider and Kirt (Diana) Heider. Grandchildren, Laura and Eric; Steve and Amy; Karleen and William Roger; Shandra; Dana and Brandon; Darik and Alissa; Brandon and Samatha. She is also the Proud Great Nana to; Harlee; Carson; Cleat; Dakota; Wyatt, Ethan, Myles, Jersei, Ryann, Zach, Dillan, Haley, Shayna, Colton and Bryson, and great great Nana to: Ashlyn, Denton, Tobias and awaiting arrival of number four. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Chisato Heider (Fred).
Visitation will be Friday September 21, 2018 from 4:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. at the Yaksich-Long Funeral Home in Raton.
Funeral services will be Saturday September 22, 2018 at 1:30 P.M. at the Yaksich-Long Funeral Home Chapel with Willie Martinez officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Raton, NM.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Raton Humane Society or Paws and Stripes. The family will be at 727 South 6th Street in Raton.
Services and celebration of love for Marilyn I (Cavnar) Heider are under the direction of the Yaksich-Long Funeral Home of Raton, New Mexico.
