Obituary for Mary Ann Schultz
Mary Ann of Parker, Colorado.
Mary Ann Schultz, age 62, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, March 12, 2020, at her home in Parker, Colorado. She was born on May 6, 1957 in Eldora, Iowa and was adopted by Gerhard and Lois Johnson. She was raised in the small town of Roland, Iowa, and was a graduate of Roland-Story High School and later a graduate of Iowa State University.
She married Jeffrey Schultz in 1980, and together they had 3 children. Jeff and Mary had been married 34 years at the time of their divorce. Mary met Gary Brown just a few years ago; they enjoyed many adventures together and were looking forward to many more. Those who knew Mary, saw how Gary changed her life and made her incredibly happy. Mary truly lived life to the fullest and embraced many of life’s simple pleasures: listening to live music, drinking a good glass of wine, cooking for the people she loved, spending time with family and friends, wearing flip flops in the warm summer sunshine, and throwing a great party. One of her greatest joys in life was finding her birth father and his family in 2019. Mary was known for her giving and generous spirit and her love of helping others in need.
She is preceded in death by both of her parents and is survived by her three children, Amie Adams (Scott), Amanda Schultz and Kyle Schultz, as well as her two grandchildren, Keatyn and Landon Adams.
A celebration of life will be held for Mary in the summer of 2020, once travel is able to safely resume. More information on this event will be available on her Facebook page.
