Obituary for Opal Louise Robertson
Age 90 Of Littleton Colorado passed away peacefully at home on August 18, 2021.
Opal was born on July 29th 1931 in Mexico Missouri. She eventually moved to Golden Colorado where she lived until moving to Lowell Arkansas in 1981. There, she was a grower for Tyson Chicken and was awarded top grower for 2 years in a row becoming the first female to achieve this and earned her 2 awards from the Governor.
She loved sewing and was an avid seamstress and quilter. She also loved traveling where she saw most of the United States and loved traveling to spend time with her children and grandchildren.
Opal is survived by her children Bruce A. Cleeton of Canon City, Colorado, Linda G Steinkamp (Robert), of Columbia, Missouri, Michael R. Robertson ( Margien) of Mexico, Missouri, Peggy S. Ritter (Rick) of Littleton, Colorado, eight grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and 10 great great grandchildren.
She is proceeded in death by her husband Robertson L. Robertson of Putnum, Oklahoma, her parents, James Robert Kennedy of Littleton Colorado, Wallace Howard Sims of Mexico, Missouri and Lena Florence (Owen) Sims of Mexico, Missouri. Her two brothers, Robert Eugene Kennedy of Oklahoma and James Alan Kennedy of Kansas City Missouri. Her son, Ricky L. Cleeton of Lakewood, Colorado and her two grandsons, Ian R. Mahoney of Colorado Springs, Colorado and Ricky J. Ritter of Littleton, Colorado.
