Obituary for Pamela Ann Pagel
Pamela Ann Morelli Pagel beloved wife & mother passed away on September 23, 2016 at the age of 56, losing her battle to cancer. She was born on Valentine’s Day, February 14, 1960 at 5:05 a.m., in Torrance, California to John Peter Morelli and Eleanor Ann Morelli (nee) Gibson.
She graduated from West High School in Torrance, California in 1978. She then attended Chapman University and earned her Bachelors of Science in Business Administration degree. Pamela began working at Coldwell Banker just out of high school, later moving to Northrop and Occidental Petroleum for Dr. Armond Hammer and then to Albert Fisher, Inc.; Donovan Leisure Newton & Irvine; Chadbourne and Parke, LLP; Bowman and Brooke, LLP; Computer Technology Associates, Inc.; SAIC, Space and Geospatial and finished her professional career at Exelis/Harris Corporation.

Pamela was dedicated to her job and participated in many professional affiliations; Society for Human Resource Mgmt., Colorado Human Resource Assoc., National Defense Industrial Assoc., and Women in Defense. But what Pamela was most proud of was being a devoted mother and wife. She taught Sunday school to the children at American Martyrs Catholic Church, she was a Cub Scout and Boy Scout leader, team mom for the lacrosse and hockey teams and volunteered many hours to her beloved boy’s schools.

Pamela is survived by her loving husband Roger Pagel, and their three sons, Tyler John, Stephen Roy, and Christopher Lee Pagel, all of Monument, CO. Twin sister, Patricia (Michael) Sandoval of Manhattan Beach, CA. Sister-in-laws, Karen (Larry) McCoy of Peoria, IL, Kathleen Pagel of Morton, IL, Rose (John) Dee of Austin, TX, Beverly (Tony) Cruz of Anaheim Hills, CA, Debi (Jerry) Marott of Rancho Palos Verdes, CA, and Deidre (Bob) of Reno, NV. Brother-in-laws Robert (Soozee) Pagel of Aptos, CA, Ervin (Jeanne) of St. Louis, MO, Ken Sandoval of Rancho Palos Verdes, CA. Mother-in-law Helen (Roy) Pagel of Morton, IL.

Pam was preceded in death by her parents, John Peter Morelli and Eleanor Ann Morelli, and grandparents, Herbert & Martha Gibson, and James & Helen Spain.
