Obituary for Robert "Bob" D. Bailey
"On Saturday July 2, 2016, Robert “Bob” Denys Bailey passed away at the VA hospital in Denver, CO, he was 68 years old.
Born to Raymond and Hallie Bailey in Ellensburg, WA on February 24, 1948, he was the youngest of three children.
Bob lived a life full of service and sacrifice beginning with his service to the United States Marines Corps, serving over seas and in the United States. He worked in Financing for over 30 years, and at the age of 65 received his Bachelor of Science degree graduating Magna Cum Laude in Business Administration. He received his Masters one year later.
Bob is survived by his family including Joey Bailey, Chris Bailey and family, Ray Bailey and family and Tina Newton and family. Bob was a Grandpa to 7 grandchildren who adored him.
Bob was a beloved man by everyone who had the honor to know him, and he equally loved those who came into his life. He loved, served, taught, sacrificed, and lived a humble life, centering on God and his family.
A private honors memorial will be held for family, with a public "Open House" reception following at his residence on Friday, July 22, 2016 from 5-7 pm.
