Obituary for Ronald Leonard Haberman

Ronald Leonard Haberman, born July 24, 1936 in Hartington, Nebraska, passed peacefully into the hands of our Lord on January 11, 2023 in Englewood, CO at the age of 86.


Ron is survived by his ex-wife Ann Catherine Haberman, sons Mike, Steve (Lisa), Gary Eugene (MarySue) daughters Teresa Champion, Cindy McGrath and Denise Amsberry (Matt), grandchildren Nicole, Amber, Lindsey, Dalton, Tyler, Lindsay, Grace, Brianna, Maggie, Emma, Garrett, Jared, Grant, Megan, Tori, Lily, Sophia and Mary Annabelle, great grandchildren Vance, Daniel, Everett, Jesse, Owen and Jett, sisters Doris Noecker and Marilyn (Midge) Zimmer.


Preceded in death by parents Leonard and Mary Haberman, brothers, Gerald and Dennis, sister Jean Muilenburg and daughter Diane.


Ron was born in Hartington, Nebraska and worked the family farm in his early years, entered the U.S. Army after high school. Settled in southern California after his Military Service as a telephone technician at Pacific Bell, got married to Ann and began raising their family. In the early 70’s he moved the family to Littleton, CO. Ron retired from AT&T and relocated to Tucson, AZ. and eventually to Costa Rica. He returned to Littleton in 2017.
