Vaughn L Richards of Littleton, CO passed on to his eternal rest at age 72 after a long battle with cardiac failure and cancer. He was born in Idaho Falls, ID but lived most of his life in the Denver area.
As a younger man he was an exceptional diesel mechanic and fabricator, but he had dreams of owning his own business and devoted several years to doing that. After he retired, he went to work at The Home Depot, which turned out to be the most satisfying and fun job he ever had, working with people who became like family members.
Vaughn is survived by his mother LeOra Richards, his wife Betty, his son Brad, and his very precious granddaughter Kylie who lived with him and Betty. Out of state he is survived by granddaughters Myranda, Marissa, and Megan and their families in Michigan, and by his granddaughter Nicole and Grandson Kyle and their families in Texas.
Preceding him in death were his father Ralph, son Vaughn Lee, daughter Rene Lynn, and brother Kent.
