Obituary for Michael Roy St.Clair
St.Clair, Michael Roy, age 60, of Arriba, Colorado. Michael died in a traffic accident outside Denver, Colorado with his girlfriend, Rhonda Little. The eldest son of Donald A. and Renate C. St.Clair, Mike was born in Karlsruhe, Germany and grew up in northeast El Paso, Texas. A 1970 graduate of Andress High School, he developed a love for rock and roll music while in high school and played locally in northeast El Paso until he enlisted in the United States Air Force and trained as an electrician. After serving his enlistment with the Air Force, he traveled the United States refining his music and exploring Native American culture then settled down in Denver, Colorado, working as an apartment complex maintenance engineer. He resided in Arriba, Colorado where he had bought and remodeled his retirement home, he had a lot of pride in everything he did there, and worked very hard to make it beautiful and comfortable for him. He was very talented and intelligent, not only was he a master electrician but was a journeyman in many trades, he could do all things construction and was even certified as an Operator of Aquatic Facilities. Michael was also a very talented musician, music was his life and sould and true passion in life. He wrote and played his own music most his life, and was recording his music to sell after he retired. He was truly happy just building his house and playing his music, it was a very happy time for him. He left a wonderful legacy to live on, his music will always be cherished. He will be remembered as a very good man with a huge heart. He was never cruel or hateful and known to many as a man of few words and extremely talented. He will be missed and was truly a gift to this earth. He is survived by his daughter Leanne Gettman (Raymond) Liggett of Austin, Colorado, granddaughter Mickinzie and grandson Raymond Jr., mother, Renate Parsons of El Paso, Texas, brother Kenneth (Michele) St.Clair of Carlsbad, California, sister Lisa (Mark) Harder of El Paso, Texas, nieces Christina (Tim) Edlin, Rachel (Randy) Paine, Jennifer and Allison St.Clair, nephew Nathan St.Clair and grand nephew Mathew Edlin.
