Obituary for Larry F. Comstock
Larry Frank Comstock was born in Denver, Colorado on May 27, 1959, and joined his Heavenly Father on October 18, 2015. He was a true fighter as he battled stage IV Melanoma Cancer for 10 months. He passed away in his home surrounded by the love of all his family.
Larry is the dear son of Carlos and Dorna Comstock. He is the middle child between Theresa Russell and Randy Comstock. He was married to his beloved wife, Julie for 23 years and was blessed with 3 beautiful girls Mackenzie, Madison and Morgan. His family was his pride and joy and he found so much happiness in their lives and sports. He never missed an event and was always their biggest fan. Larry also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousin that will greatly miss him.
Larry was an all-star athlete and succeeded in all he tried starting at the age of 8, baseball, football, basketball, wrestling, and even bowling. He continued on to college at Mesa where he played baseball for 3 years. He owned the roofing services of L.F. Comstock, Inc. that continued to succeed for 25 years.
Flowers and vegetable gardening was one of his great interests, his roses always holding a special place in his heart. A lot of time during his illness was being on the back patio enjoying the view of the vegetable garden he and Morgan planted.
During his time here on earth he touched many lives through his humor, gentle spirit, and love. His legacy will continue forever.
